Many people get confused about the differences between advertising and
Marketing. It seems that the aim for both of them is to promote production and
sale of goods. Actually, although they all have the same ending objective, they
are very different from each other and they all have its own strategy and
process. If you are considering a major in one of this area, you are supposed
to understand more details about each of them.
Marketing is communicating the value of a product or service to customers,
for the purpose of selling that product or service. It refers to the process of
preparing goods to market by finding the potential consumer, understanding what
they want to get from you product and how to arouse their interests in your
product, and how the company distribute the product in the market. So,
advertising is just one part of marketing which involved in draw public attention
to the products. If you want major in marketing, you should have the ability to
taking whole situation and make overall plans according the market research,
budget and some other factors.
Comparing to the marketing, commercial advertising is a marketing method of persuading
audience to buy products or take a service through radios, TVs, posts, and
Internet. The key point for advertising is repeating. It will has influence on
subconscious if the audience could see the advertise anywhere in any places.
Also, creative advertise is always easy to make a deep and great impression on
the consumers. If you are interested in major in advertising, you should
consider on the creative side, have the sense on artwork.
All in all, advertising is one
part of marketing. With the development of free trade and media technology,
they all become more and more significant for the competition of the company.
What is more, is also show that company has paid more attention to
satisfied the need for consumer.
